Our favorite reality mom, Kate Gosselin, turned 36 yesterday.

Kate celebrated her birthday ten days earlier in New York City, but yesterday was her actual birthday.
It seems not much was planned for Kate's birthday. She was spotted yesterday, but she was just putting out the garbage at her Pennsylvania home.

So, happy birthday Kate! May this year bring you much joy and maybe a new man in your life.

Will Kate Gosselin celebrate her birthday at home

Considering that Kate Gosselin celebrated her birthday 10 days early this past friday, will she celebrate it at home? On friday, Kate celebrated her 36th birthday party at the trendy STK in New York City.

STK is one of the top night spots in NYC where a steak dinner can set you back $80 easily. All of Kate's guests arrived in a stretch limousine. She and her guests were all smiles for the paps as the cameras flashed.

Kate Gosselin looked in great shape and quite tone as she wore a black mini dress that showed off her curves. Bodyguard Steve Neild was close by Kate the whole night. Is Kate out courting the press as Kate Plus 8 is set to debut on April 4th? Maybe. The question is, "Will Kate celebrate her birthday on March 28 at home with the kids?

If she does lets hope Kate doesn't let Jon get the cake.

Kate Gosselin was spotted shopping in New York City last night. The 35 year old reality star was seen leaving FAO Schwarz with a large bag of new possessions.

The Gosselin children were no where in sight as Kate was shopping with a gal pal and her bodyguard Steve Neild.

Kate Gosselin was all smile Saturday as the cameras caught her in NYC shopping and celebrating her birthday on Friday night at STK. Strangely enough Kate's birthday is actually March 28th. No word from her reps on why she was celebrating her birthday 10 days early.

Expect to see much more of Kate Gosselin as Kate Plus 8 premieres April 4th. The second season starts  with Kate and the kids vacationing in Australia.

Jon and Kate Gosselin cooled their animosity toward each other to celebrate daughter Mady's
birthday.

The birthday was actually for both twins - Mady and Cara Gosselin - who both turned nine. The party
was held at the Gosselin's Wernersville, PA home. John reportedly was staying until the children went
to bed.

The only unfortunate incident was that the cake for Mady Gosselin was spelled Maddy. We can bet the children still ate the cake though.

Jon said him and Kate kept it cordial in regards to their twins having their birthday together.
